Claude Data Export Viewer

Open the manifest-plus-ZIPs export Anthropic gives you and turn it into a searchable local viewer: conversations with thinking and tool calls, projects, memory, and account history.

Conversation content is about as sensitive as export data gets. This runs entirely in your browser, and privacy mode hides message text, names, and login details for screenshots or sharing.

Getting the export

  1. claude.ai avatar -> Settings -> Privacy -> Export data
  2. Wait for the email, then open the manifest-....json it links to
  3. Download every ZIP the manifest lists (each link works once) into one folder
  4. Drop that whole folder here, along with the manifest.json

Claude export map

Waiting for a Claude export. Conversations are the core of this viewer — thinking blocks, tool calls, and attachments render alongside them, plus projects, memory, and account sections.

Conversation content is sensitive by nature. Everything is parsed in your browser, and privacy mode hides names, message text, and login details for screenshots or sharing.

FAQ

Claude export questions

What does Anthropic's data export look like?

You get an email with a link to a manifest .json file, and the manifest lists the ZIP files that hold your data. Each download link works once, so download every ZIP before you close the page, then drop the folder and the manifest here.

Do I need every ZIP file?

No. Each file is categorized on its own, so a partial export, for example just the conversations ZIP, still shows whatever it contains.

Are Claude design chats included?

Yes. They're normalized into the same conversation list as regular chats and tagged with a Design badge, so the conversation count lines up with what claude.ai shows.

What does privacy mode hide?

Message text, conversation names, attachments, project names and descriptions, memory content, and account and login details, so you can share your screen or take screenshots.

How do I get a Claude data export?

In claude.ai, open your avatar, then Settings, then Privacy, and choose Export data. Anthropic emails you when it's ready.
